In part eight of the All Tomorrows audiobook reading (now approved by the author C.M. Kosemen himself!) well meet the new versions of the Ruin Haunters, the Gravital... As you may recall, the Ruin Haunters were deluded and considered themselves to be the sole heirs of the Star Men, having been able to access their leftover technology and also that of the Qu earlier than most other post-humans.
They shunned the other post-human races who reached out to them and, after their planets sun began to expand and make their planet far too hot for organic life to exist on it, they developed machines that could have their human minds implanted into, thus losing even more of their humanity... though not completely.
We will also learn of their invasion of the other planets and the few specimens of organic life that they preserved, and how machine-organic relations began to change and evolve into something more romantic.

An audiobook reading of the 2006 ebook All Tomorrows by C.M. Kosemen.
In this video we will be listening to a brand new unofficial audiobook reading of the first seven sections of C.M. Kosemens ebook All Tomorrows. First we will hear about the great and catastrophic war that took place between Earth and a colonised Mars. We will then be taken through the ensuing events, such as the decision by the surviving Earth and Mars inhabitants to create a new human subspecies that will go on to colonise the solar system over thousands of years... the Star People.
We will learn about their journey through time and space, and witness the great success of their campaign to spread throughout the galaxy and create peace on millions of planets and moons.
This peace, however, was not to last. In the final part of this video we will learn about the Star Peoples fateful and horrific encounters with the Qu, a nomadic race of alien religious fanatics with a total grasp of genetic engineering and nanotechnology, who have taken it upon themselves to travel the galaxy changing all lifeforms they encounter into new and horrifying forms.
Humanity may be gone, but humans are still very much alive.
