As we all find ourselves spending the year in lockdown to avoid the ongoing pandemic, perhaps it's worth taking the time to learn about what happened the last time a pandemic on this sort of scale happened, so that we can hopefully learn from it and know where we went wrong 100 years ago, when the (not actually Spanish) Flu devastated the world.
