Bina Paul graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India with a specialisation in Editing. She has edited over 35 feature films and is a recipient of two National and numerous State Awards. Bina has been the Artistic Director of the International Film Festival of Kerala for over a decade and has served on the juries of various international film festivals, including those at Locarno, Durban, Morocco and Berlin.
Rajiv Mehrotra is the founding Managing Trustee and Commissioning Editor of PSBT - his films have won more than 300 awards worldwide, including 32 in 31 years from the President of India. His nine books are available in 50 languages and editions. He serves as the Trustee/ Secretary of the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of HH the Dalai Lama (For more, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajiv_Mehrotra).
PSBT was a not-for-profit that nurtured and supported the production of independent documentary films by a diversity of filmmakers from across India. Over two decades, it produced close to 700 documentary films, each film averaging two film festival selections and every second film an award. PSBT was led by some of India's iconic film personalities - Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Mrinal Sen, Shyam Benegal, Sharmila Tagore, with Fali Nariman and Kiran Karnik. From its inception in 2000, Tulika Srivastava was a key member of the Team, joined in 2005, by Ridhima Mehra.

Through a series of unanswered phone calls made by an unnamed narrator, we listen to the dreams, fears and ambitions of a migrant man working as a cook in Bombay, while witnessing glimpses of daily life unfolding across the city.

Amartya is an independent filmmaker based out of Mumbai, India. A recent graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), he has has directed both fiction and nonfiction shorts which have been screened at international and national film festivals such as DIFF, IDSFFK, Changing Perspectives Turkey etc. He has secured grants to complete short documentaries from notable bodies like PSBT and Charles Correa Foundation.
His films deal with the intersectionality of the self and the modern world, exploration of the urban landscape and the ephemeral within the mundane. He also writes poetry, which has been published digitally.

PSBT is led by some of Indias iconic film personalities - Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Sharmila Tagore and Kiran Karnik. Shyam Benegal, Mrinal Sen, Aruna Vasudev and Fali Nariman were also Trustees in their lifetimes.
Since 2025, Aparna Sanyal has been leading PSBT as Director. She is a national award-winning filmmaker, and an experienced broadcast professional who has held leadership roles in various media organisations, including the India Chapter of the International Association of Women in Radio & Television.
This film is a part of PSBTs mentoring initiative, Doc_Commune. Launched in 2021, the programme offers a dedicated space for young filmmakers to engage with experienced professionals, refine their projects, and build a supportive community. Through a series of masterclasses, feedback sessions, and conversations, Doc_Commune encourages creative exploration while offering practical guidance on the documentary process. It serves as a bridge between early-career filmmakers and the larger documentary ecosystem. Harjas Singh works on Doc_Commune as Assistant Producer.
