Back to 8-bit Goodness!
Now, The 1975 are a pretty underrated band imo. I've only heard two of their songs, 'Love Me' and 'The Sound' but I absolutely love those songs because of how incredibly retro it is. 'Love Me' captured the 70s essence pretty much perfectly but this is probably my favourite song from them despite listening to only two of their songs.
This song has a certain charm and I'm honestly in love with how it flows really nicely. The pianos, the synthesizers, the guitar solo, it's just incredibly 80s and I love it. Why do some people listen to Jacob 'Sad'-torious and love him is beyond me. This is one of those examples of TRUE good music. So, to make it even more 80s, I decided to use Cinos Modmar's NES soundfont, Pixels 8-Bit Soundfont and Justin Fleurimond's Menrad's VRC6 soundfont to remix this song and turn it into a retro, chiptune-like theme. 8-Bit Universe is also one of those inspirations for me honestly. They make some pretty retro remixes of popular songs. Took me approx six hours to make this remix and probably an hour to make the video and I'm really happy with how it came out! :D
