Sonic Omens is a fangame that I believed had potential but wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I wanted to talk about the controversy surrounding the devs but also wanted to put a quick message out there regarding the backlash I've seen. Just to be clear, not defending the developers' harassment of any fan or supporter but a lot of the backlash was without fans knowing about this, which concerns me on how we would treat other fanmade games in the future that are held to this high of a standard.
