In This Video i take a look at the Somerset coal Canal which closed in the very early 1900's and was built in the very early 1800's with my very good friend and YouTube Buddy @westcountrywanderings We start our Explore at St Mary's Church in Timsbury walk down an ancient Holloway and the bump into another YouTuber called @MartinPopeFilmmaker we take a look at the remains of the old Canal and The Railway that came much later all now disused of course but efforts to refill the old canal is continuing, some amazing countryside on this walk and on and off this old Canal and Railway really makes you wonder what it must have been like back in the 1800s and it's history with 9 Coal mines that existed back in this bygone era.
