In this video I'll be showing you a new version of the VERY small infinite multi item sorting system with infinite storage capacity. It uses a directory to collect the stored items, as you may know from much lager storage systems, such as The Nexus from Ethos Lab, or Sethblings Infinite Minecart Storage System. In a very small space you can store as many items as ie Cubfan135's Shibalba on Hermitcraft Sesaon 7 in less than a 1/20 th of the space.
And now the directory is fully automatic and it handles stacks of 64, stacks of 16 and even non full stacks. Just chuck in your items and wait. The footprint is just 9x6x4 blocks! It has to be the simplest and smallest Auto Directory system out there, and best of all it is infinitely expandable.
It should work for Minecraft 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.16.5 and 1.17
To be correct: It does not really auto-sort anything. Everything is just lying in one big pile. Think of it more as google mailbox: Not before you request an item is it "sorted" and pulled from the system. Just a clarification for the geeks out there :-)
UPSIDE: Small. Cheap. Easy to build. Infinite. Makes the directory automatically.
DOWNSIDE: Does not hold non-stackable items - but neither does most other systems. If you build it VERY big (1000 Minecarts) it will create lag. But then again if you build another system to hold the similar amount of items the hoppers and the redstone will create lag too.
