The Division 2 PvP has gone through years of balance changes, reworks, and meta shifts, yet many of the same core problems remain. While oppressive armor regeneration builds may be gone, they have largely been replaced by new headshot-focused setups that create many of the same frustrations. In this video, I take a closer look at the evolution of Division 2 PvP, the loss of meaningful counterplay, why healer and hybrid roles have struggled to survive, and how many of the systems that once made PvP engaging in The Division 1 are largely absent today. More importantly, I explore whether these changes help explain why so few players choose PvP over PvE in 2026.
