Ever wonder what kinds of songs the Sirens sang before they were banished to the human world? I wrote this song based on that premise. The sirens were at their height of power and there were no signs of stopping them. Unluckily for them they ran into a mythical magical guru who not only banished them to another world but another time as well!

I love this song, and I wanted to give it a spit shine with new/cleaner animation, updated lyrics and vocals, and an overall upgrade from the previous version. Due to recent changes online, Scootaloo adds a new word to the end of this piece that miiiiight be a bit different from what you remember. This song, from the Count of Monte Cristo musical, takes place 16 years after Dashie (Edmund Dantes) was wrongfully thrown in prison for a crime he did not commit. Flutters (Mercedes) reflects on how her life has only gone downhill since she was misinformed that Dashie was dead. She remembers the good times of her past as they, and their secret love child Scoots (Albert), are the only things keeping her spirits up anymore.
I have wanted to cover this song FOREVER but never found the right time to do it, until now! I learned a lot about myself in the art process and just how much your style can change in one project hahaha. Ponies forever!
