The cooking skill influences on how Sims chop the food and cook it. If it's low, they'll cut their fingers and say "Ouch!", if it's medium, they'll still cut themselves but will sing while cooking and if it's high, they'll sing while chopping and cooking and won't cut their fingers anymore.
