Critics of the doctrine of penal substitution often make the objection that God must submit Himself to some standard of justice outside of Himself, since He is unable to forgive sinners without satisfying His justice. This view shows a misunderstanding of the nature of God and His divine simplicity. God doesn't submit to a standard of justice outside of Himself, but always acts justly because He is righteous or just by nature. God's attributes are also not divided into parts (50% love, 50% just), but in everything God does, He is 100% loving, and 100% righteous or just (it would be unloving for God to ignore justice or to be unjust). The being of God is identical to the attributes of God.

On April 7th, 2020, "AG2: Christ Crucified" will be released on all major rental or purchase platforms (Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, etc.). For more information visit americangospelfilm.com
