My review of the brilliant THE SILENCE OF THE GIRLS by Pat Barker, a tale of loss, lack of agency, brutality, and beauty set in the midst of the Trojan War. Also, there has never been a harsher light shone on the big crybabies that are the Greek kings and generals. Difficult to read but so so good!
