It's a good year for history nerds my friends! Earlier in 2025 a 3D artist showed that a shallow relief was more likely to create the image on the Shroud of Turin than a human body, and now a document from a respected medieval bishop calling the Shroud's authentic claims "clerical fraud" has been discovered.
