The Simpsons Shining parody! The Simpson family are taking a trip to the mountains to stay at a fancy mansion, but something seems a little off. While there, a blizzard hits and traps the family in the house. And then things really go downhill when Homer runs out of beer.

So i'm well aware that the Simpsons have already parodied The Shining, but i wanted to try to do it without using any clips from that Treehouse of Horror segment. I think i got pretty close, and with the restrictions, it created some fun narratives. Like with the opening clip, Bart asks everyone where their luggage are. It feels like the family is keeping a secret, like they were already planning on murdering him!
