Being is shining clearly
If peace and happiness
Make up our being
How it can be so
That isn't all I know
Yet when whether waking
Or if in a dream
In all that's ever been
Is the shining of being
In the midst of each experience
In all these drinks
Tea, coffee
Orange juice, and so on
The water is the thirst quenching element
Likewise
Our being
Is the thirst quenching element
In all experience
That is
Our being
Is the only element of experience
That can truly satisfy
Our longing
For peace and happiness
The experiences of peace
Happiness, and love
Are the shining of being
In the midst of experience
If peace and happiness
Make up our being
How it can be so
That isn't all I know
