Hi everyone! Today I review one of Stephen King’s classics, “The Shining”, a 1970s horror novel about a family trapped in a spooky, storied old hotel during winter. This book, for better or worse, allowed me to better understand one of the rare common criticisms I hear regarding Stephen King-stay tuned to find out whether that’s enough to turn this “golden oldie” into a “mouldy oldie” for a Gen Z bookworm reading it for the first time!
