Beautiful harmonies and voices from the sweetest sounding girl group, the Shannons. Did not chart nationally in Billboard, but released as a single in March 1969. Produced by Mel Taylor of the Ventures. The Shannons released two singles and I have posted all four sides. "Little White Lies" was a hit for many artists in 1930 and 1948: Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians, Ted Wallace & His Campus Boys and Earl Burtnett & His Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel Orchestra in 1930 and Dick Haymes, Dinah Shore and Martha Davis in 1948. One more remake charted at #43 for Betty Johnson in Billboard in April 1957.
