The Seven Cities of Gold has nothing to do with the popular Mysterious Cities of Gold animated series; apologies for anyone brought here by the thumbnail, I just thought it would be funny. Instead, it's an exploration-centric sandbox open world game, originally developed for Atari 8-bit by Danielle Bunten Berry of M.U.L.E. fame (and friends), and remains a thoroughly interesting game with something to say even today.
Today we take on the version included with The400 Mini, which is preconfigured to play with the default world map. Play with your own disk image and you can have a fully randomised world to explore!
