He was just one dog week until retirement when a giant hand from a Burger Boy statue fell off the restaurant roof and crushed him. "God was saving up all his petting for one terrible ultra-pet," said his blind owner at the funeral. "I only wish it had been me under that Burger Boy hand instead - because as a working service dog, he really shouldn't have been petted under any circumstances. Also, I no longer have anyone to guide me, so I welcome oblivion with open arms." And with that, he wandered into traffic, miraculously missed every single car on the 6-lane freeway, sat down on the other end and cried.
