September feels a little like a second New Year.
Summer is winding down, schedules are changing, school is back in session, and suddenly our homes are asking for a little more structure.
This week on The Modern Home Economist, Ms Leona and I will be talking about The September Reset (Getting Our Homes Back in Rhythm).
This isn’t about trying to organize the whole house in one weekend. It’s about noticing the places where summer loosened our routines and intentionally putting a few simple rhythms back in place.
We’ll talk about resetting the kitchen and pantry, getting meals back on track, looking at the family calendar, restoring laundry and cleaning rhythms, transitioning the garden, and preparing our homes for the season ahead.
Because sometimes peace at home doesn’t require doing more. It requires getting back to the simple things that help the household run well.
