Reenactment scene of a ritual to confer knighthood (also known as Accolade or Adoubement).
+++ TRANSLATION (from Italian to English)
"In the name of God, Saint George and Saint Michael, I raise you to the ranks of knighthood.
Never again will an armed hand be raised against you without answering for it.
Rise. A knight is born. And now…This is for you, the sword from your brothers in arms. Use it justly and correctly."

This final part of the Knighthood ceremony is conducted by a knight (but can also be conducted by a greater noble or king)
The colée (or gentle stroke with the flat part of the hand against the side of the neck) is part of the ritual. Some interpret this as this is the last time another could raise a hand against the soon-to-be-knight without answering for it.
