The Kingdom of Sarasaland and Princess Daisy have a surprising connection to real-world history! The name "Sarasaland" is believed to be inspired by sarasa, colourful floral textiles imported from India to Japan during the Edo Period. Since sarasa became associated with beautiful floral patterns, it's fitting that the ruler of Sarasaland was named after a flower: Princess Daisy.
