Let me tell you a little story. Way back in 2004, Dairun Cates went to his first Anime Convention. While there, he let a vender trick him into buying a 10 dollar grab bag of assorted items that the vender could not sell on their own. He knew it would be useless crap, but he was having fun.

In said bag was a box of pocky, a chobits plush doll, a few pins, a random set of patches for an anime store that doesn't even exist anymore, and a VHS tape...

This tape was labeled "Cyber City Oedo 808".

It looked to be absolutely horrendous, and the fact that it was licensed by U.S. Manga Corp. didn't help.

Dairun didn't have a VCR. So, he forgot about it and stored it away in his closet.

In 2010, Dairun was sorting through some videos to look for for "bad movie" night. The tape re-emerged, and the friend in question happened to have a VCR.

What happened in that 40 minutes was magical, but ONE line stuck out more than any of the others on the tape.

THIS is that line.

Truth be told. It's not THAT bad, but it is an excellent example of the overuse of profanity in the early stage of english dubbing.
