This talk explores the relationship between hope, perseverance, and human resilience through the famous rat experiment conducted by Curt Richter. It examines how expectations can influence our response to difficult situations and emphasizes that hope does not mean ignoring challenges, but recognizing that circumstances can change and continuing to move forward. I am a curious and determined student who is passionate about learning, growth, and pushing my own limits. I was born on September 28, 2008, and I have always been interested in understanding both the world and myself through challenges and new experiences.
I’m passionate about sports, especially basketball and endurance-based activities. Through sports, I have learned the importance of discipline, resilience, and mental strength. For me, physical activity is not only about performance, but also about the constant dialogue between the mind and the body, and how we choose to respond when we are pushed to our limits. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx
