SIEGE is one of the most important creations of the Théâtre du Mouvement to date. The result of a collaboration between Yves Marc and Alain Gautré, this piece was born out of research into themes of fear. After a long period of exploring the physicality of this emotion, the actors created fascinating characters. They attempt to retain their seat, a place of comfort and security, their symbolic property, in a chorus that is moving, tragic and funny. Claire Heggen here plays The Wingless Aviator, one of the most beautifully realised roles of her career.
