Most people tweak Bass, Treble, and Loudness on the Sonos Arc Ultra without really knowing what they’re changing. In this video, I break down what those settings actually do using frequency response sweeps and real-world listening tests. You’ll see why the Bass slider doesn’t add deep bass, why Treble can quickly cause fatigue, and why Loudness sounds great at night but wrong at higher volumes.
I also explain how things change when you add Era 300 surrounds and a Sub 4, including which frequencies each speaker actually plays and why adding more speakers usually means using less EQ.
