KOJRO Retro innovations | The Schneider Euro PC, Part 3, We dig deeper into the workings of the system @kojroRI | Uploaded September 2022 | Updated October 2024, 6 minutes ago.
This is our third video on the Schneider EuroPC. The PC that is not a Commodore, but with this design that makes us all wish it were. In our last video we read up on the theory to have a better understanding before we dig deeper into the fault finding. The Schneider EuroPC is the German company Schneider’s first attempt to make a PC of their own after years of rebranding Amstrad computers. I had a friend back in the day that had one of these beauties and I have always loved the shape and concept of these. This is a recent purchase and was bought in unknown condition. So, in this video we try to dig deeper to see if we can identify why we got no sign of life on our last attempt to fire it up. This is the third episode in a series of video’s on this computer. Here is a link to the service manual that I found with the best quality : oldcraporg.files.wordpress.com/2018/03/schneider-euro-pc-service-manual.pdf. This is hosted on the oldcrap.org webpage, but i found it with a google serarch with the words (schneider euro pc service manual) PS I know I repeat several times in this video that this is a short one… But it’s actually 20 sec longer than the last one…. Time is relative when you have fun.
