God does not measure your faith by your feelings, but your actions. When you are in a wilderness season it is up to you to take the action to put on your new self and renew your mind with the truth of what God has revealed to you. Each day as you choose to put on your new self and see God’s love for you, you’ll find refreshment even in the driest of valleys.
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Ephesians 4:22-24
