the scary jokes is a solo project created by Liz Lehman. Specializing in intimate, soul-baring lyrics and sparkling 8-bit melodies, the scary jokes has amassed a dedicated cult following since its foundation in 2014. From their bedroom, the scary jokes has released three full-length albums: bad at math (2014), April Fools (2016), and Burn Pygmalion!!! a Better Guide to Romance (2019). Their sophomore album, which generated considerable online buzz upon its release on Bandcamp, has been re-mixed and re-mastered from the ground up by Angel Marcloid of Fire-Toolz acclaim. This much-anticipated re-release of April Fools is available now through Needlejuice Records in both digital and physical formats.
