The Saturday Forum sits in the middle of the annual Glastonbury Symposium’s weekend schedule and this is where a gathering of speakers from the weekend and a handful of other guests from the world of the ‘alternative’ come together to react to questions and statements from the auditorium, enabling a lively exchange.
Chaired by Symposium MC Andy Thomas, the panel consists of the late Marcus Allen, much missed lynchpin of the alternative community; Tanishka the Moon Woman; ET researchers Euan Mochrie and Gary Heseltine; and plant medicine expert Juliette Bryant. Everyone has their moment to shine as frank opinions are shared on paranormal matters, the erosion of free expression and the state of the world.
Recorded at the Glastonbury Symposium, July 2023.

![Serena Roney-Dougal – MEDITATION AND PSYCHIC AWARENESS
Parapsychologist and author Serena Roney-Dougal discusses Yogic and Buddhist teachings which indicate that advancement in meditation leads to expanded awareness and enhanced psychic ability. Through this research we have gained a greater understanding of consciousness and its relationship with the energy body, the chakras and prana. Tibetan Buddhism and Kundalini Yoga both incorporate tantric philosophy into their spiritual systems, the two having diverged about 1,000 years ago. The primary emphasis of both Buddhist and Yogic practices are on spiritual development and becoming a more peaceful, compassionate and joyful human being – research backs up the importance of this, by linking science with spirituality.
