Have you ever heard of the the HEXBUG holiday tall tale known throughout the lands as The Maple Myth? One day, a lumberjack spider name Lincoln was walking around, looking for a tree that he could cut down. Upon finding the perfect tree, Lincoln began to hear the melodies of a distant song. Confused, he perked up and strained his ear to listen. There was silence. Then, out of nowhere, the skies opened up, and syrup started pouring down upon his head. All he could do was stand and take it. Drenched in sticky maple syrup, he was resigned to his fate. “This isn’t so bad,” he thought to himself, as he looked around. Honestly, he kind of liked maple syrup, and it wasn’t anything a long bath couldn’t fix. That’s when the pancakes came. In synchronization with the music, giant, fluffy, delicious pancakes came hurtling towards Lincoln smacking him in the face and body, and landing all around him. There was nothing he could do. To this day, no one knows what caused these events to transpire, and it is such an outlandish tale that some people didn’t even believe poor Lincoln. Thus concludes the HEXBUG tall tale known as the Maple Myth, a story about a sappy spider.
