The fonds consists of records created by STOP between 1970 and 1982 in fulfilling its mandate to promote public awareness about environmental pollution in Alberta. The records document the organization’s activities developing educational resources, lobbying the municipal, provincial and federal governments for stricter anti-pollution laws, and raising funds to implement their agenda. The records include correspondence, press releases, minutes, reports, financial records and promotional materials.
