The Trump administration is trying to seize the land around Mount Cristo Rey, a sacred site of Catholic pilgrimages, in order to build a border wall. But the small diocese that owns the land is trying to stop it. Our reporter Reis Thebault hiked up the mountain to see the 29-foot statue of Jesus at the top, and explained the fight over the site below.
