The Rosenhan Experiment was done to answer the question: can psychiatic practitioners differentiate between normal and abnormal mental health, just like a physician can tell if you're sick or not sick. The study is not without its controversies, with some suggestions of data fraud being aimed at Rosenhan hmiself.
