Critical Issues Commentary | The Roots and Fruits of the New Apostolic Reformation, Part 1 @CICministry | Uploaded June 2022 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
In the first part of this seminar Bob DeWaay traces the history of the New Apostolic Reformation. He begins by defining apostles and prophets from Scripture and shows that there are no modern-day apostles. He shows how that Catholic Church claimed apostolic authority for the Pope early in church history. He discusses how the Reformation challenged that idea and shows how mysticism infiltrated the protestant church after the Reformation.
He continues this message with an overview of the Latter Rain Movement, showing that an allegorized view of Joel 2:23 was the foundation. He shares some of the jaw-dropping claims of Latter Rain leaders.
Stop back next week for part two of this message which was originally recorded in 2008.
