The Romantics frontman Wally Palmar says the band is eager to reconnect with Australian audiences when they return this March for appearances at the Wanstock Festival, including shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
In conversation with Australian Musician, Palmar reflected on the group's long history with Australia, noting their first extensive visit in 1980, when they toured theatres and clubs at the height of their early success. While the band briefly returned for a cruise-based event in 2018, this upcoming trip marks their first opportunity in years to properly spend time onshore and reconnect with fans.
