This is the preference to the first major story in Śrīmad Bhāgavatam's Fifth Canto: The Story of Ṛṣabha. In this preface we hear about Ṛṣabha's grandfather, Priyavrata's son: Agnīdhra: and how he attracted a celestial apsara to mother his children.
