This keyboard was faulty at the time of recording most of this video, and yes I DID say check everything before you buy one of these but I should add: Try a factory reset. It takes a couple of minutes to reset its brain and you might think "This is totally frozen" ...but it might just put the whole system back online, including non-working buttons. It did in this case, so I may still bring you more JX-305 material as I explore deeper into this very interesting synthesizer.
