The original Roland GAIA SH-01 was touted as a virtual analog synthesizer - but it wasn't really: all of its oscillators were actually just playing samples. In this video I demonstrate why the GAIA 2 is a true virtual analog synthesizer, and what features you can look for that tell you that a synth is a true VA. Then I demonstrate how those features are used.
