Professor E builds the Roli Rover robot step by step. Each EZ-Bit connects to the EZ-B Robot Controller using male-to-female connections at the back of the robot. The port layout can be viewed in the Getting Started Guide. Be sure to match the wire colors to the corresponding port colors.

Roli is a rover robot that can navigate difficult terrain and surfaces. It's treads allow for smooth, consistent movement, over any terrain, and the arms give it a hand up if the treads are insufficient. It has a camera mounted on to a moveable neck, and a removable cup holder for storing drinks or other items. The rover uses the free EZ-Builder software, a powerful and versatile robot platform, that teaches programming and other coding aspects. The modular design allows students to build real-world robotic applications, without the limitations of traditional educational robot platforms.
