I don't understand the reason why I'm able to control generics, but not the recruitable ones, well at least this time both join at the same time.
The chapter is basically capturing forts, there are some statboosters to steal too. The only difficulty is just rescuing Calista/Bethany before RNG does something bad.
Weird enemy placement though, if all 3 enemies' attacks actually landed, which isn't that unusual, Calista would have been a goner.

That combat sprites in the ending cutscene though, it's quite difficult for me to find that menacing, especially when the character looks like the Black Knight... from Monty Python.
