Construction is underway to replace two downtown bridges. Crews have already demolished the first bridge and they are in the process of building the new one. The Truckee River is diverted to the south channel while work happens on the north bridge. Once that bridge is completed, crews will divert the river to the north channel and begin work on the other bridge.
