In this episode we delve into the history of Middle Earth with a focus on the Rohirrim. Our story begins in the early Third Age with the middle men who inhabited the north eastern region of Rhovanion. From them would emerge a series of powerful princes who united the realm. In this way they were able to fight back against the encroaching easterlings and form alliances with the southern relam of Gondor. However following the Great Plague and a new wave of invasions, the people of Rhovanion would flee to the Vales of Anduin. Here they would become the Eotheod. In time they would rebuild their strength, once more returning to fight by the side of Gondor against threats such as the Necomancer of Dol Guldor and the Witchking of Angmar. However it would be their heroic rescue at the Field of Celebrant which led the Steward Cirion to swear Eorl into an oath of loyalty and to invite his people to move to the region of Calenardhon. It would finally this land which would come to be known as Rohan.

We cover the equipment, training, and organzation of these Riders of Rohan. And finally we cover the history of Rohan through to the Fourth Age. This includes the War of the Rohirrim against the Dunlendings and the War of the Ring against Isengard and Mordor.
