In the late 2010's, Rick And Morty was the biggest show in the entire world. It completely dominated pop culture during that time, and it seemed like it could've been the next big thing for adult animation, on par with South Park or The Simpsons.

Nowadays, in 2024, Rick and Morty is almost never acknowledged at all. Not only is it no longer relevant in pop culture, but it seems that its initial pop culture relevancy from 2017-2018 has been erased from history. And on the rare instances you see people talk about Rick And Morty, it's almost always in a negative light.

So what happened with the show? How did Rick And Morty go from being the most critically acclaimed cartoon of the 2010's, to a show that's largely ignored and occasionally ridiculed in the 2020's? Well, to be fair, you have to have a high IQ in order to understand Rick And Morty's downfall.
