Nursing homes in Ireland are expected to reopen to visitors from today having been closed to the public since mid-March in a bid to prevent the deadly virus spreading. Dr Marcus de Brun, a GP based in Rush, Co Dublin, has slammed the move, saying: “Covid-19 is still in the nursing homes, it’s still in the community. "Now the doors are going to be open and people are going to start going in and out. “As a result, there’s a very serious chance that we are going to see a resurgence of it in the nursing home sector, once they are pushed into this situation. Marcus discusses this with Richie and also reveals why he believes the lockdown was unnecessary and why the covid vaccine, if one is developed, should not be given to healthy people. Paul Craig Roberts is an economist, author, broadcaster and a former US Assistant Treasury Secretary. Paul discusses the recent anti-racism protests that have descended into violence and looting in some US states and digs down into who is behind the unrest and who it benefits.
