The return of the once IT bag of 90’s to 00’s, the Dior Saddle bag designed by John Galliano. It has come back after 18 years. This comeback is one of the most successful from a fashion house. Dior did it good on the marketing game.
Looking back 18 years ago, I don’t even know what I was doing then. Maybe I may have seen it on TV or magazines but was not into fashion or hollywood. But last year I dipped my toes into vintage dior. I got myself a dior saddle mini pouch and a red saddle bag montaigne edition. But I sold both of them now. I have restocked my closet with these two beauties! I am definitely floored with the shearling saddle bag I got from an ebay store from Japan, boom2hanten. I used a coupon code with it: PENNY5 for ebay Australia.
I bought mine when the prices have been hiked up. But even if this bag becomes out of fashion again, I am confident it will come back in as strongly as it did now.
Also, I have seen and read negative feedback on this bag because of the shape and design. Honestly, I feel like that’s a more a pro for me because it sets this bag apart from all the new released bags. It is something that not everyone will be inclined to own. It is sort of a niche taste bag. But I absolutely LOVE THIS! And I will rock it like rockstar! 😁😁
