Congrats to Jello for all of these new findings, and being the first person to sub 20 on Mushroom Gorge! This also gives him his first 3Lap BKT, so his first BKT is a great and historic one! This is also only the second track to have subbed 20 seconds in TAS, the other being Grumble Volcano. I’ll try to get one other upload in this weekend, so give me ideas for what to do! So happy to get this, even though Lap 3 was bad, I got the .2! I’ll hopefully have someone record this and the run will be up soon! Thanks to everyone who motivated me while I played this track! Next stop is Regionals!
10th USA - 53.145 by Doom
10th American - 53.142 by Paul
Run Analysis:
Lap 1: Solid Lap all around, some driving was a bit weird but a .8 Lap 1 is great
Grade - B
Lap 2: Really solid lap without the curb ride, didnt go for it since my angle was a bit off, this lap had the best shortcut as well
Grade - A-
Lap 3: Everything was going really well until my finger slipped during the cut, which caused me to soft drift the cut instead of hard drifting, which prevented a really good SC. My alignment was way far too the left on the second the last turn, which also cost a lot of time. All in all those mistakes cost a low .2/.1.
Im super excited to keep playing this track because Ive never had a chance at a Regional Top 10 before! Ill stream some attempts very soon, my new computer arrives on May 9 (my birthday), so high quality streaming soon!
