You may not know the name, but Beatrice Tinsley pioneered our understanding of galaxy evolution. Dr Meghan Gray, an astronomer working in the same field, pays tribute. We've uploaded this video to mark "Ada Lovelace Day" - a celebration of women in science.

Dr Gray works at the University of Nottingham.
