THE RED SCARF
The red scarf is a short film that paints the fragments and pieces of stories that took place during the Nepalese civil war era also knows as Maoist conflict. It is a sketch of the stories told, heard and read and not directly linked to just one person.
Story -
An orphaned child is found and given a home by a kind family. The boy spends his childhood with two other children in the house, but possesses different personalities to them. His wrong and violent act during his adolescence leads him to jail. In a few years the young man walks out of the jail and joins the young and rapidly growing Maoist party. With the power placed in his hands, he also takes revenge to the house he once was welcomed. The war and movement take its course and after much destruction, the party finally joins hands to mark the end of the long running conflict. The young man survives but at a cost. Neither the party, nor any family member comes to his aid while he lay there helplessly.
