I find the best way for me to learn is by doing. Blender is a nightmare but i'm slowly learning step by step how to achieve what i'm going for within it. I just make up a sequence on the fly, and just go with it, trying to use my skills in digital art, 3D, lighting, compositing, videography, photography...really just having fun. Although i'm still quite a noob in blender, and the YT market is already over saturated...i'll probably start with some quick tips for noobs. We shall see!
Vroom was sculpted in Nomad and imported. I've done a number of revisions including body work in nomad, and also setting up systems in Blender so the wheels would move. I learned that about half way through, before then luckily it's not too noticeable that the wheels don't move.
Buggy is my first model (other than a a pixxo3D tutorial model to learn how to make a turntable) I sculped buggy in Nomad, but decided to model in him in blender just to learn how to do it. I don't think i'll do organic things in blender anytime soon, but it’s fun to learn more hard surface stuff.
Also, this is on LEVEL IV of the same chip where "Journey to Earth" take place. Level IV is where the energon core is, and must be recharged every 48hrs.
